You may be a world famous physicist, a successful businessperson or an experienced athlete. Or maybe you have the best tended yard on your block, survived a life threatening disease or have an incredible life story to share. To Einstein’s Pocket it doesn’t matter, because we believe everyone has experience, skills and knowledge that are valuable to others.
Everyone has something to give.
More importantly, we believe that people’s willingness to pay for that time can help raise money and awareness for worthwhile, charitable causes.
Einstein’s Pocket takes the idea of mentorship and service, and applies a little bit of free-market capitalism, for an entirely new dimension to fundraising.
We do this by auctioning off people’s time. Maybe you want to meet a celebrity, or maybe you just want to learn how your neighbor keeps his dogs so well behaved. How much is that time worth? You tell us. But know that whatever the amount, you’re not only gaining invaluable access and knowledge, you’re also helping to raise money for a person or group that could use it.
We ask people to “reach into their pocket” and auction their time in our marketplace, or make a bid for someone they’d like to meet. Either way you stand to gain.
